"God has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher." (2 Timothy 1:8-11)

Looks Can Be Deceiving
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." - Jesus (Matthew 23:27-28)

Yes, good picture.
Jesus judged the Pharisees in that passage who were quick and thorough in their judgment of others. We will be judged as we have judged others.
I find that thought quite troubling when I consider Christians, some of whom I know to be the most judgmental, critical people I know. Like the Pharisees, falling short of God's grace?
My name is Kelsey Towicz and I am from Adelaide, Australia. I find this as a good message to all of us. I personally have been a prime example of using my looks to deceive people. I am raised as a Catholic and I was one of the most judgemental people I can think of. I want to change so I have turned to the Bible for guidance.
Excellent choice of picture:)
