"God has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher." (2 Timothy 1:8-11)
Thanks for your comments Drew - I am going to cut and paste them over on the other blog where the real readers are -
I think you and I are about the only ones left using xanga - actually, it would probably be better for you to comment on my blogger site (use the hyperlink for this comment) with your "beloved" address, then readers would be able to backtrack here and find you and hear what you have to say - because it is worth reading!
I hope that your weekend is enjoyable and the driving not too hard on you. I will be praying for you as you start your new life in Richmond. I have a contact number and another church suggestion that I will email to you - cousins that live in Richmond and are very missions oriented so I'm sure they would love to hear about Turkey.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom 15:13
Drew, thanks for your laughter regarding our electric tent camping! Still no stuff. Actually, it's bugging Chris more than me. You're still the only one besides my family who I've "allowed" to discover my blog! So I'll welcome your prayers of patience and good humor. Hey, my sister and hubby live in Richmond. They are both teachers too. They go to a great church in West End that you may want to visit. Let me know.
